Gardening tips

Here will be some tips i got from my own experience.
They will be in random order, but maybe some day i will make kind of categories for them.

1. Everything what is crawling or hanging needs less light.
2. Don't grow cabbage and other plants(flowers, tomatoes in same room), you will end with streched cabbages and gnome tomatoes.
3. If your plants are in trays, let them dry before potting. Then you can knock them out without damaging roots. And it's quicker.
4. It sounds maybe silly, but if you like organic, seed peas into trays. So you can get your crop before pests.
5. one seed per hole is quicker than full fingertips. Why? you will get later one plant per hole and you don't need to rip up them
6. if you are seeding and you drop a seed, don't pick it up. You can't be sure which variety it is what you get from floor
7. cover your trays always with plastic, and don't forget to check them twice per day
8. Plants in greenhouse will grow faster if you can give them CO2. Cheap solution:
a bucket with something that can fermented, some water and yeast. But make sure it is only half full or it will boil over.

will be continued...

Myths:

1. "Gardening is soft job, only for women."
Think again! Try to dig out a fully grown bush or take two watering cans and water a 100m2 greenhouse every day, meanwhile mix some substrate with spade. Let's say so 5-6m3 and don't forget harvesting.
Day after day 10 tons of pumpkins per day each 20-80kg. So...only for women, eh?
2. "If you hurt paprika's roots, it will stop growing for a while"
true and false. If you can keep substrate wet and give a lot of light, it will still grow fast.
